Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about bitcoincash.ee Pool.
What is bitcoincash.ee Pool?
bitcoincash.ee Pool is a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) mining pool that combines a 1 BCH block finder bonus with a Best 13 payout for the round's leading miners. It is run by the developer of SoloChance.org and is currently in beta.
What makes this pool different from a regular BCH pool?
Most mining pools fall into one of two camps: solo pools, where you chase the full block reward alone with no guarantees, or proportional pools, where rewards are shared steadily but there is nothing to get excited about.
bitcoincash.ee Pool takes a different approach: each round, the 13 highest-difficulty shares get paid — 1st place takes the largest cut, down through 13th. And on top of that, whoever finds the block walks away with an extra 1 BCH bonus paid directly to them. Push a high enough share and you're on the board; find the block and you take home even more.
Why Bitcoin Cash and not Bitcoin?
From the beginning of SoloChance.org, the goal has always been to serve what is underserved — to find the gap the community hasn't filled yet. When SoloChance.org was being built, SoloChance.com had already been serving Bitcoin solo mining calculations for years. So the gap was Bitcoin Cash, and that's where SoloChance.org went.
Is this a financial service?
No — bitcoincash.ee Pool is mining pool software and a coinbase distribution service, not a financial service in any way. It does not accept deposits, hold balances, or manage funds on anyone's behalf. Both the finder bonus and each round's Best 13 payouts are placed directly as outputs in the block's own coinbase transaction by the pool software the moment a block is found — the pool itself is never a party to that transfer.
Does the pool custody any coins?
No, it does not custody any coins in any way. Payment is enforced by Bitcoin Cash's own consensus rules through the coinbase transaction, not by the pool operator — the pool software never holds, controls, or has the ability to move, withhold, or redirect any coins at any point.
Has the pool found any blocks?
Yes — the first block was found on August 9, 2026 at 23:18:42, as block #963375. See it and every block found since on the .
How do payouts work?
Every time a block is found, three things happen:
- 2% of the full block reward (Block Reward + Tx Fees) goes to the pool fee.
- 1 BCH is then paid to the miner who found the block, directly in the block's coinbase.
- Whatever remains is split among the round's Best 13 — the 13 highest-difficulty shares submitted since the last block: 1st gets 38.3%, 2nd 23.6%, 3rd 14.6%, and 4th–13th get 2.35% each.
The block finder receives the 1 BCH bonus, plus — since a winning share is also the round's best share — their own 1st-place cut of the Best 13 payout, all in that same coinbase transaction. It's fully trustless — no pool-side ledger to trust, and no ongoing bookkeeping.
What is the Best 13 payout?
Instead of paying every miner a small proportional amount, each round the pool ranks every share submitted since the last block by difficulty and pays out the 13 highest — 1st place gets 38.3% of the pot, 2nd 23.6%, 3rd 14.6%, and 4th through 13th get 2.35% each. One block found starts a new round; the next block found closes it and triggers the payout. Track the live standings on the .
What is the pool fee?
The pool fee is a flat 2% of the full block reward (Block Reward + Tx Fees), taken before the 1 BCH finder bonus and the Best 13 payout are calculated.
When will I receive my payout?
There's no separate "sending" step — both the 1 BCH finder bonus and your Best 13 payout are placed directly as outputs in that block's own coinbase transaction the moment it's found. Coinbase outputs are spendable after 100 confirmations (~16.5 hours), per standard Bitcoin rules, and there's no ongoing bookkeeping to wait on.
How do I connect my miner?
Point your miner at mainnet.bitcoincash.ee:3333. Use your BCH address as the username, optionally followed by a worker name: YOUR_BCH_ADDRESS.workername. Password is x. See the for full examples including Bitaxe.
What mining hardware is supported?
Any SHA-256 mining hardware works — ASICs (Antminer, Whatsminer, Bitaxe, nerdQAxe, etc.) and CPU miners (cpuminer-opt). BCH uses the same SHA-256 algorithm as Bitcoin.
How do I track my stats?
Go to the page and enter your BCH address. It will show your hashrate, shares, and last activity. Stats are only available once the pool node finishes syncing.
Do you have a test environment?
Yes — a Testnet4 version of the pool is always running, using the exact same pool software as production. The only difference is it's connected to a testnet4 node instead of mainnet. You can test mining against it at test.bitcoincash.ee, and view found test blocks at test.bitcoincash.ee/#blocks.
Where is bitcoincash.ee Pool located?
The pool server runs in Frankfurt, Germany. Invoicing and domain purchases are handled through Estonia, thanks to the Estonian e-Residency programme, which allows individuals to access EU digital services without being a resident. The operator lives somewhere else.
